WHY ISN'T THIS PAIRING POPULAR sdhfisfgiusduicsd.
During this scene, everyone has doubts on losing their L'Cie brand, especially Vanille. Always having her cheer him up when he's feeling down, he grabs her hand and put it between his, telling her that anything is possible. A few seconds later Vanille gives out a small giggle while Hope follows suit, giving her a smile.
AND THEY WALK OUT OF THE SCENE HAND IN HAND.
If that's not love, I don't know what is.
I swear, my love for Vanille/Hope is on the same level as my love for SoKai and NekuShiki. ; A ; I love this couple so so much.

This is absolutely fantastic!! That scene is one of my favorites from ff13! It just showed how their relationship grew so much. And that laugh they both gave, while STILL HOLDING HANDS and then STILL hanging onto each other and walking off into the sunset...oh my shipping heart!!!
i just DO NOT COMPREHEND people who ship HopexLight! It just makes no sense whatsoever! And it just doesn't feel right! Besides, Hope and Vanille's relationship actually grew, and continued to grow throughout the game, while Hope and Light's basically stayed as teacher/student or mother/son. The fact that Hope basically dedicated his life to finding a way to free Vanille (and Fang) from the pillar just goes to show how much she meant to him <33
